 Matching of kundali is not always necessary before marriage. As an astrologer, I feel that only in certain horoscopes wherein the 7th house or the 7th lord is malefically posited, or the 7th lord is weak or the 7th house does not have good sarvashtaka points, also when the native is going through a malefic dasha (tough time) like Saturn Rahu, Rahu Jupiter or Mercury Rahu at the marriageable age then the prospects coming for the marriage at that period would not be that great. Only because of these aspects, astrologers recommend that the match has to be done. So that the risk and the stress in the upcoming marriage comes down and you would get married to a better person.
